Schrader Enters the Turkey Bowl XVII

Pulling double duty, Ken Schrader rolled into Springfield (Mo.) Raceway on Friday evening for the Turkey Bowl XVII.

With 58 Modifieds entered and double heats on tap, Ken started-and-finished second in his first heat race before advancing from 11th-to-fourth in his heat race. Via his performances he locked into the eighth-starting spot for Saturday's finale.

In the finale he advanced to a fourth-place finish behind Tom Berry Jr., Dylan Thornton, and Terry Phillips.

Meanwhile, in B-Mod action 64 competitors passed through the pit gate, and a sixth-to-first run in his heat race he earned the second-starting spot for Saturday's finale.

Ken contested for the lead throughout the main event before registering a runner-up finish behind Kris Jackson with Ryan Gillmore, Damian Kiefer, and Dalton Keith completing the Top-5 finishers.
