KSR Invades Batesville

Ken Schrader Racing invaded Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) on Friday for the opening round of the Wimp Reed Spring Nationals.

With 26 entries in the pits at the 3/8-mile oval, Ken earned the 11th-starting spot for the feature and then went on to advance to a fourth-place finish behind Jeff Taylor, Brandon Smith, and Roger Witt.

Another $1,500-to-win slate was contested on Saturday night, and while Ken slid back to a seventh-place finish in his heat race, he mounted a great run in the main event.

From the 25th-starting spot Schrader rocketed through the field to finish second behind Jeff Taylor with Brandon Smith, Ashton Wilkey, and Tim Hogan completing the Top-5 finisherss.
