Schrader Bests Ohsweken and Brighton Modified Action

Ken Schrader swept through Friday and Saturday night's Modified racing action in Ontario with wins at Ohsweken Speedway and Brighton Speedway to push his 2024-win total to 11.

The weekend opened on Friday at Ohsweken (ONT.) Speedway. Ken advanced from the fifth-starting spot to finish second in his heat race, which positioned him second on the starting grid for the feature. Leading all by the third circuit, Schrader survived some contact from another competitor to race to the win.

He was followed across the finish line by Greg Belyea, Sean McNally, Mike Freeman, and Dan Price.

Saturday took the team to Brighton (ONT.) Speedway, where Ken enjoyed another dominant performance. He won his heat race to lock into the fifth-starting spot for the feature. He paced his way to the front of the field, taking the lead on lap -, before registering his second win in as many nights.

Greg Belyea, Ron Wadforth, Curtis King, and Charlie Sandercock completed the Top-5 finishers.

Ken was scheduled to race at Cornwall (ONT.) Motor Speedway on Sunday evening in the Pro Stock division, but unfortunately Mother Nature washed the program out.
